Regular Route Schedules

Thanks to an FTA grant for transit, SporTran is offering ZERO FARE rides for all vehicles in the Shreveport-Bossier City limits for 2022 & 2023.

NOTE: The Bossier City Council's plan to reduce SporTran's budget from $900,000 annually to $500,000 will result in changes to the Bossier routes and schedules for our riders. These changes were originally set to go into effect February 5, 2023. At the January 24 council meeting, the vote for budget reduction was continued until February 21.

SporTran will postpone the start date of the Bossier City public transit service reductions until we know more information following the Bossier City Council meeting February 21.

PROPOSED BOSSIER CITY BUDGET REDUCTION SERVICE CHANGES

During the Tuesday, January 10, 2023 Bossier City Council Meeting, council members voted in one reading to reduce SporTran’s budget for 2023.

Prior to 2023, the annual public transit budget for Bossier City was approximately $900,000. The new budget is $500,000 per year. This budgetary reduction requires SporTran to decrease service times for all Bossier routes and eliminate routes 105 & 107.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes our riders and encourage those who depend on public transit in Bossier City to work with their council members to address any service deficiencies.
